Two differentiated activity sheets where children are required to recognise 2D shapes.
Lower Ability - Ten shapes that need to be matched to their names.
Higher Ability - Twelve shapes on a sheet that children need to name (no names given to match).
Two differentiated sheets for KS2 children whose aim is to calculate the area of triangles.
Activity Sheet 1 - Triangles with whole number length sides, easier lengths.
Activity Sheet 2 - Triangles with challenging length sides, including decimals. Short/Long multiplication skills will be required.
Answer Sheet - Answers for both activities.
I have included PDF versions and Word Document versions for those of you who may want to edit the activity sheets for your own children’s needs.

A Roman Numerals activity sheet for More Able/High ability children.
They are required to turn the Roman Numeral Calculation into an 'Arabic numbers' calculation, then work out the answer and express it back in Roman Numerals.
This really gets a buzz going.

Challenge 1 – Name parts of a circle
Challenge 2 – Calculate the radius and diameter when given the other measurement.

Sheet 1 - 8 Questions asking about the warmest/coldest months, difference in temperature between months. There are two data sets on the graph (two lines, same axes)
Sheet 2 - 8 Questions focusing more on averages and trends. There are three data sets on the same axes. Completely different questions.

Challenge 1 - improve sentences by adding in coordinating conjunctions.
Challenge 2 - improve sentences by adding in subordinating conjunctions.
Challenge 3 - improve sentences by adding adverbial sentence openers.
Mastery Challenge - Vary the position of subordinating conjunctions and adverbs within sentences.
